We didn't have Santa in my house so there was never that moment of disillussionment. I remember when I was about 3 or 4 getting this large clear plastic telephone filled with sweets. I loved making pretend phone calls and eating the sweets. I got a playmat made by my mother that year as well. I LOVED it. It had velvet fields and satan rivers and fake fur bridges. I still have it.Inkpothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07253894925544281211noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2470879226303295078.post-115545744370070262009-01-02T03:57:00.000+08:002009-01-02T03:57:00.000+08:00We hope you all have a wonderfurr New Year!We hope you all have a wonderfurr New Year!Jodi's Book Reviewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01850003049069472189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2470879226303295078.post-44473399631924586582008-12-31T04:33:00.000+08:002008-12-31T04:33:00.000+08:00I really like your 'About Me' blurb...Cool, I will...I really like your 'About Me' blurb...Cool, I will visit again. I think when I was younger the year I got my Cabbage Patch doll was awesome as they were the "it" gifft that particular year. And this year is probably my mose memorable gift . . . I got a fire engine red Kitchen-Aid mixer. And I have been wanting one of those for the longest time. In fact, I think this year was the best year in terms of gifts - receiving and giving.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2470879226303295078.post-41473554386923850262008-12-30T10:32:00.000+08:002008-12-30T10:32:00.000+08:00hi!i have lots of memorable gifts throughout the y...hi!

i have lots of memorable gifts throughout the years. but i think my most recent would be the gift of having our first child. it is not easy for me to get pregnant. so i am sooo thankful. just like hannah in the bible, i had to plead to have this baby.

and thank God! I guess my delight in Christmas gift giving came to me after I had a child and seeing the wonder and delight in her eyes.Claudiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02714440790407126206noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2470879226303295078.post-16936912166648922782008-12-29T07:51:00.000+08:002008-12-29T07:51:00.000+08:00A few years ago when my 2 sons were 19yrs & 23...A few years ago when my 2 sons were 19yrs & 23yrs, we gave them each a laptop computer & they were just so shocked that we would spend that much on them! (Yeah. Cruel truth.)

(And, yeah, we SHOULD give a gift to someone in the class.)

(It's required. FORTUNATELY.)

But it's the 'giftless' Christmas that I enjoy the most. 'Cause, since I don't usually receive something during this time of the year, it's like as if it's an artifact when someone gives me a gift; it's gonna be so precious to me...Fivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01899577081356612668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2470879226303295078.post-8563066316845794172008-12-28T16:04:00.000+08:002008-12-28T16:04:00.000+08:00I really don't have any one memorable gift but I d...I really don't have any one memorable gift but I do have lots of moments :)

home made gifts mean so much to me

this year my niece made me a fuzzy, warm, cozy throw for the sofa

I also love photos, cards, mixed CDs - anything with a personal touchDiannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02946500110072411468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2470879226303295078.post-4190200660936524992008-12-28T14:30:00.000+08:002008-12-28T14:30:00.000+08:00so glad you've been enjoying your holiday festivit...so glad you've been enjoying your holiday festivities!!!

my most memorable gift was the first year my hubby and me were dating and he got my a promise ring

take care of yourself; great picture of your son!

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.com
