DO YOU HAVE A SCAR?

SHE WRITES:

June 9, 2000 I called my mom and dad and told them 2 things:
1. Happy Anniversary!!! - mom's reaction: "Thank you! Later your dad & I will have a date"
2. I'm at the hospital and in a little while I'll have my operation - appendectomy :-) - mom's reaction: "Oh my! I have to go there, who will take care of you "...on and on and on. hihi... She was a bit hysterical.

Maybe for some it's not a major thing, but for someone like me who's always been her mother's little girl (until now actually) and my first time miles away from home with no relatives at all - that was such a big thing for my mom. This explains why she was hysterical :-)

Well, that's my scar... I requested for a bikini cut during my operation because I wanted to wear bikini for my honeymoon not exposing the scar! And so I did! hihi...

Oh, if you're wondering who took care of me after the operation? It was my boyfriend (my husband now), my manager and some workmates. They took turns in taking a leave off work to be there at the hospital for me. My operation may not have been a pleasant incident but it brought memories & people I'll never forget...and will be always be grateful they were there.
