SHE WRITES:
I'd like to thank Lee for this topic suggestion :o) Guess he, like me, wants to find out what each of us are doing...So here's mine.
My weekends are the busiest days of my week because both my husband and my son are at home - no work and no class. We usually wake up later than usual, eat lunch at home and take a nap after that. Grocery day is Saturday and on Sunday, we have home church after lunch and anything goes after that.
I work part time on weekdays...I teach English in a Manufacturing firm and my students are the supervisors, managers and the general managers of TDG. There are times they're crazy busy so our class gets cancelled :o) But if I do work, I only work 2-4 hours each day... This job is really a blessing because it allows me to earn but at the same time, prioritize my family. If my son is sick, like right now, I can just tell them I can't have the class this week 'cos I need to take care of my son.
My days are very flexible and I like it that way... I earn but not at the expense of sacrificing my family.
How about you? What's your typical day like?

I get up, watch mum and Uncle Hugh have breakfast, then mum feeds me, then I go and look at my blog and catch up with the other blogs, then mum and me go for a long walk, then I have a nap, then I watch mum have lunch, then I have a nap, then I sometimes have another look at my blog and other blogs, then I have a nap. Then mum and Uncle Hugh sometimes drink some wine together and Uncle Hugh plays with me, then I sit close by him whilst he cooks dinner (in case he drops something on the floor) then I watch them eat their dinner, then mum feeds me, then I have a nap until bedtime whilst they point their head at the thing called the Television. Then its bedtime. Every day is generally the same for me, but I don't mind. I like 'sameness'.
I'm going with C because I'm a nurse and I work every other weekend - so there isn't always a big difference between them. I'm up at 5:30 and out the door by 6:30. I'm scheduled to work until 3 but it's kind of rare to actually get out at that time. I often have stops to make on the way home - grocery store, post office... Then it's home to get supper going, maybe do a load of laundry, and catch up on my blogs. On my Saturdays off I do a lot of baking and I enjoy being able to go to church on my Sundays off. Interesting question. I'll check back to see what others have to say.
My weekdays always start early...usually 6 AM. I wake my oldest to get his shower for school and then at 6:30 AM wake my second child. At 7:15, my youngest is wakened. The entire morning until 9 AM is spent getting them ready, moving them along, packing lunches, and getting them out the door.
After the morning rush, I usually have quiet time with my Jesus and a nice warm cup of java.
at this point, there is nothing typical in my day. i have a very unpredictable day. hehe especially that my sleeping patterns have changed
hello! well, since last week, it has been wake up early when my hubby wakes up, and then i would sleep again and wake up at 11 am. sigh...but now it is only 8:30pm and i am already sleepy.
My weekdays are composed of work (selling food and administrative job). Shop food to sell the next day. Eat lunch with parents. Go home and check emails and blogs. Eat dinner with parents. There's also a weekly youth cell meeting. Church service weekly.
Saturday is laundry day. I spend the afternoon talking to my Cody. Nap if possible.
Sunday is family day. Church service, eat lunch with parents. Spend time with the family when my sisters are around. I make it a point to spend time with my family as much as possible because I'm planning to get settled soon.
Life is a challenge. Life is for GOD.
GOD BLESS EVERYONE ABUNDANTLY!
GOD IS THINKING OF YOU RIGHT NOW!
P.U.S.H.
I don't really have a typical day! Although I do go to church almost every Sunday, and Toastmasters every second Tuesday.
Also, you have been tagged (http://mythoughtsontheworld-k.blogspot.com/2008/12/tagged.html)
Workdays, I wake up in the morning, shower, go to work very early and have nice quiet breakfast first. After work I go to the gym and then back home, shower and sleep. Friday night I'll be out partying. Saturday will be a day of rest and read up on my CFA stuff (sometimes I go out partying Satuday nights too - depends on my mood). Sunday, I'll do my 'housewifey stuff' - grocery shopping and off to the gym again in the afternoon.
I don't have "typical" days, so I guess C. I work regular hours, but each day at my job is different. On the weekends it's a toss up as to what type of (mis)adventure I find myself getting into.
Upon arriving my husband and I say the Morning prayer, thanking G-d for watching over us and returning our souls. We bless G-d when we set feet to floor. Say the blessing over the watching of hands. Say the Shema "Hear O Isreal..." we then prepare breakfast, study Torah, hubby starts his job search and I clean the house and then work on a Tapestry project. I make time to catch up on e-mail, writing in my journal. We prepare supper, read together or watch an movie and say prayers before going to bed. Friday we prepare for Shabbat and Saturday is a Day of rest. Sunday, after morning prayers, is a maor day of cleaning and hanging out with family.

Tues thru Fri I am up at 6 am opening the doors at our ministry school by 7:30 am. We worship for an hour, then discussion time & praise reports till 10 am, then have a guest teacher speak & minister until Noon, then school is dismissed & I do office work & meetings until about 3 pm, then home sweet home! I love my life!
Up at 5:00,leave for work at about 5:25. At work have a cup of tea and my muffin.....6:00 go to the pharmacy for my drugs for the day. 6:15 punch in, set up all the equipment and draw up my drugs for the day. At 7:00 go to meet my patient and review the chart and start my paperwork. 7:15 to 7:30 take my first patient into the OR and begin my case....Work till someone relieves me, or finish and take that patient to recovery. Do this all day. Work till 3, 5 or 11PM. Go home. If early maybe stop at the store. Fix dinner, check email and my blogs. Write what ever is going on that day or is on my mind. Shower and go to bed. I love my days off.
Hi--Sorry I haven't been by for awhile. I've just been a bit burnt out and was taking a break (not from your blog but from blogging in general for a little bit).
Typcial days are:
Mondays: My day at home with the little one. We have recently "adopted" a new mom and her baby. We hang out with them, watch a kid's movie, eat lunch out, then go to karate class.
T/W/TH/F: The Little One goes to school in the mornings and I (theoretically) clean the house (but I tend to do a lot of blogging). Afternoons are either nap or mommy-kid play time.
S/S: Every Saturday morning I get to sleep in ( I love my husband). Sundays is his turn. We tag team parent and ususaly run errands.
Sunday, we go to church twice. Usually nap in between.
Mon and Fri - We are at home all day so I try to work on housework.
Tue, Wed, Thurs - my son goes to Preschool in the mornings. I use that time to visit with my mom.
Saturday I try to something for myself - like take a quilting class.
When I can I work from home doing bookkeeping and transcribing - this is on an as needed basis.
Taking care of my family keeps me busy.
A. Weekdays; you can set a clock by me, LOL; up at 4:50 a.m., to the gym at 5:00; home from gym at 6:00; shower, do my daily Bible reading and devotion, take Koda our dog for a walk, spend a little time on computer and then go to work from 8:30 to 5:30; I work from home so I literally just walk 2 feet from home computer to work computer. Take 1 hour lunch break around 12;30; dinner about 5:45, walk Koda after dinner, and then do a few chores around the house, spend more time on computer and then bed between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m.
on the weekend, its the usual round of errands, grocery shopping, house cleaning, church, etc.
cute question
I like that you have a chance to go out and teach but still be available for your family in case they need you
betty
Not being gainfully employed at the moment, I lead a leisurely life! But, it also means that it doesn’t always have a pattern to it. We’ll take just one day, today. I am an early waker, largely because I crash fairly early the night before, and am awake at 7am. The day starts with feeding the birds and then coffee and the morning paper. After that, I check the emails and the blogs before a shower and breakfast. We collect all the shower water in buckets, so that gets distributed around the garden. After that, I headed into town by tram for one of two or three monthly volunteer sessions at a telephone counselling service. I was please to see it raining when I came out and caught the tram home. It has been a dry spring. When I got home I moved some collected rainwater into storage bins and wrote a post for my main blog and then rang my mother. She has been feeling down since my father died in September; I am going to visit her tomorrow. Answered some emails. Dinner watching the news. Back in the study to comment on my favoured blogs. Will go and watch The Daily Show on TV later before heading to bed to read for a while.
Tomorrow will be the same. But different.
Am I a health buff? Hmmm... tricky one, this. I go to the gym at least 3 times a week. But when I'm out partying I smoke like a dragon. I don't drink, and I eat whatever I want, but always in moderation.
So I think I'm somewhere in the middle.
