HOW OFTEN DO YOU WALK IN THE PARK?

SHE WRITES:

I like walking in the park, but I seldom have the chance to do it here in China. There are a lot of parks here but I have no one to walk with because my husband works whole day and it's very cold at night, especially now it's winter. BUT when I was in Bacolod (my hometown) my in-laws and I did it about 3-4x each week. It started in 2005 when I was 5 months pregnant with EJ - we walked almost every night - yep, after dinner. The "tradition" went on until EJ came out - that was the same park where we trained him how to walk and run :o) I loved doing it with mama Mary and papa William (my in-laws) and I miss it very much. It's actually one of the things I'm looking forward to next year because I'll stay with them a couple of months before I give birth until probably July next year. We will definitely have those walking in the park thing because EJ likes feeding the fish in the pond and I like bonding with mama and papa while walking :o) After the walk, we end up buying donuts or eating desserts somewhere, hihi...

Oh, just an add-on... In case it was raining, we went to the malls and we walked there :o) Then we end up buying something...whatever that something was! So my mother in law used to say, it's always better to walk in the park... hihi.

How about you? How often do you walk in the park?

A. Daily
B. Not very often
C. Others (pls. specify)

I like to walk in the park but I also want company with me. To go to a park is about a half hour drive from my home. I guess I should to get some exercise. I seems funny to drive to a park to walk in it. HA HA

what nice memories you have of your walks in the park!

pretty much every day I take a walk or two with our dog and one of the routes I take is through a park; only time we don't walk is if it is pouring down rain

enjoy the day

Very rarely. I'm lazy--when it comes to walking/running (I can admit it...lol) and where I currently live there isn't a park per se very close by. Plus the weather has been quite disgusting lately and so hindering any thoughts of walking anywhere...although maybe I should add that to my resolutions for the new year. hmmmm.

I love to walk early in the morning and we live near three lovely parks. However, since I am recovering from an hip injury, my walking days are on hold until after I finish treatment.

I try to walk every day, sometimes through the park but I tend to have a 'circuit' that my legs know about and I just leave them to it.

i so luv walking in the park. but it's always too hot here. it's really relaxing, anyway depends on the park too..if it's beautiful, breathtaking, then it's worth the while.
now, i rarely do that, since the baby. as i mention, it's too hot, pity him..

Sorry if this is a dumb question but why don't you walk on your own? My mum has always loved walking and even when she didn't have me she would walk every day for at least an hour, even when she was working in the UK, and she always walked on her own 'cause Uncle Hugh doesn't like walking. She says she does her thinking when she walks. Mum loves to be on her own. There are no parks near us but we are in the middle of the countryside, so I guess that's similar. We walk every day for at least an hour. In Switzerland we go for four, five hours at a time in the mountains. Mum says she wants to die walking:)

Love walking in the park. I live less than a block from a promenade along the water, and whenever I come back from anywhere, I always try to include that path in my route. In the summer walking/sitting/staring/thinking/chilling in the park happens way more often.

I like walking, but it doesn't necessarily have to be in the park. In fact, I can't remember the last time I walked in a park.

I usually take my time walking from the car park to the office. It's quite a distance, so I use that time to walk and thinking about stuff, sometimes ideas about what I'm gonna write in my blog.

I walk a couple times a week. I also started when I was pregnant. It's hard to actually get out and do it but we make it happen. It makes me feel good all around. :)

I would walk in a park if there were one close to me, Meili. I would have to get in the car and drive to a park, so I don't do it often.
